<p><b>Salary:</b> $39,283 – $49,707</p>
<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the incumbent is agirresponsible for the management of critical clinical equipment in the Endoscopy Department.</p>
<ul>
<li>Liaising with administrative and medical leadership within assigned program areas.</li>
<li>Developing an understanding of the overall equipment needs within assigned program areas.</li>
<li>Identifying and replacing malfunctioning end‑user managed components of specialty equipment to minimize downtime and maximize patient care.</li>
<li>Ensuring equipment malfunctions are logged in the incident reporting systems and following up on incident reports flore related to equipment or products.</li>
<li>Supporting the arrangement of repairs of malfunctioning equipment with internal or external clinical engineers/electronics technologists.</li>
<li>Maintaining an appropriate supply of end‑user replacement parts for all equipment.</li>
<li>In partnership with Clinical Engineering, ensuring all incoming equipment inspections are complete, equipment inventories are up‑to‑date, and timely preventative maintenance is performed.</li>
<li>Setting up new equipment and in‑servicing staff in the proper care and operation of governmental equipment and products and serving as a resource.</li>
<li>Maintaining key relationships with internal and external partners as required for procurement, repair, reprocessing, and ordering.</li>
<li>Assisting with sourcing equipment, equipment evaluations, clinical trials, staff in‑service, and creating requisitions for approved purchases in SAP.</li>
<li>Working in a team environment to ensure all program areas receive the services required on an ongoing basis.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>At least two years of recent and related clinical experience in a complex healthcare environment is required.</li>
<li>Previous working experience with healthcare equipment is an asset.</li>
<li>Previous working experience in a critical care technical intensive health care environment is an asset.</li>
<li>Prior teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach is required.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education</h3>
<p>To be considered, candidates should have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Complete high‑school education, Manitoba standards.</li>
<li>Post‑secondary education in a technology‑based health care field, including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Registered Cardiology or EKG Technologist</li>
<li>Entry‑to‑practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Imaging Technology</li>
<li>Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound training program</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited school of MRI Technology</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Current certification in hemodynamics, preferred.</li>

<h3>Certification/Licensure/Registration</h3>
