Customer Service Representative

Job Description

<p>As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible to provide outstanding service to our client's customers by; scheduling deliveries, handling general inquires, addressing concerns/issues, listening to complaints, troubleshooting problems, and communicating necessary information to our delivery crews.</p><p>A typical day would include:</p><ul><li>Contacting customers to schedule/reschedule deliveries.</li><li>Communicating information to delivery crews.</li><li>Verifying status of deliveries with drivers and keeping customers updated</li><li>Responding to customer/vendor queries regarding the status of their orders</li><li>Working alongside dispatch to accommodate customer requests</li><li>De-escalating situations by providing workable alternatives that satisfy the customer</li><li>Taking accurate notes of conversations with customers/vendors and keeping our system updated on any and all changes to their order status.</li><li>General data entry: entering customer orders into our delivery system, filling out order completion spreadsheet</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>At least 18 years of age or older</li><li>Strong computer knowledge and skills</li><li>Ability to calmly provide conflict resolution and navigate frustrated customer situations</li><li>Ability to enter and schedule orders while taking inbound calls.</li><li>Ability to work full-time hours.</li><li>Ability to work in an environment where you must sit, reach, communicate (verbally and electronically), listen with auditory acuity, type, read, multi-task, and concentrate for prolonged periods.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Secondary School (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>customer service: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
