Denture Finishing Technician – Calgary, Alberta<br>Position Overview<br>A full-service dental laboratory in Calgary is seeking a skilled Denture Finishing Technician to support the final stages of full and partial denture production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in producing high-quality removable prosthetics with precision, consistency, and excellent aesthetic outcomes.<br> <br>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Trim and contour denture bases and frameworks using appropriate rotary tools and hand instruments.</li><li>Polish and finish full and partial dentures to meet clinical and laboratory specifications.</li><li>Inspect all appliances for accuracy, fit, and finish; ensure they meet quality and functional standards.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow technicians and supervisory staff to meet production timelines.</li><li>Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workstation.</li><li>Complete documentation for production logs, case notes, and quality checks.</li></ul>
<br>Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior experience in denture finishing or crown & bridge finishing.</li><li>Strong manual dexterity and attention to fine detail.</li><li>Understanding of common dental materials, tools, and workflow processes.</li><li>Ability to interpret dental prescriptions, models, and technical requirements.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.</li></ul>
