The business has built strong momentum through disciplined growth, a people-first culture, and a focus on long-term value creation across its residential portfolio.<br><br> This opportunity is well suited for someone who began their career in public accounting, built a strong technical foundation, transitioned into industry, and is now ready to step into a true manager-level role.<br><br><strong>Principal tasks and responsibilities include:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Ownership of corporate and portfolio-level financial reporting and month-end close</li><li>Review of balance sheet reconciliations, variances, and supporting schedules</li><li>Preparation and review of financial statements for corporate and holding entities</li><li>Portfolio reporting and financial analysis to support leadership decision-making</li><li>Coordination with external auditors and support through year-end and audits</li><li>Assistance with cash flow reporting, forecasting, and treasury-related activities</li><li>Leadership and development of a small finance team, with a hands-on approach<br><br><strong>Qualifications and pre-requisites:</strong><br /></li><li>CPA designation</li><li>Firm-trained background with progression in public accounting</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of industry experience following public accounting</li><li>Exposure to real estate, asset management, or property-related reporting is an asset</li><li>Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and analysis</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with detailed reporting packages</li><li>Readiness to step into a manager role with ownership and accountability<br><br><strong>Additional information or perks (optional):</strong><br /></li><li>Compensation range of <strong>$115K-$125K</strong>, commensurate with experience</li><li>High-visibility role within a growing residential real estate platform</li><li>Opportunity to help shape reporting and finance processes as the business scales</li><li>Exposure to senior leadership and portfolio-level decision-making</li><li>Collaborative, people-first culture with room for professional growth<br /></li></ul></p></p>
