<p>Are you an experienced and detail-oriented programmer with a strong background in the fire protection industry?</p><p>If you have a minimum of two years of fire alarm installation or repair experience, and possess excellent problem-solving skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly talented team at Onyx Fire as a Fire Alarm Programmer.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with project managers, construction team, engineers, and technicians to understand project requirements and design specifications for fire alarm systems.</li><li>Program and configure fire alarm control panels, devices, and related equipment in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.</li><li>Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and adherence to all standards and codes.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to on-site installation and repair teams during the installation and commissioning phase of projects.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to address any programming-related queries or concerns.</li><li>Stay updated with industry advancements, technological trends, and best practices in fire alarm system programming.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation or repair within the fire protection industry.</li><li>Proficiency in fire alarm system programming and related software applications.</li><li>Solid understanding of fire alarm control panels, devices, and associated equipment.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc offers:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Competitive wage</strong> and a company vehicle</li><li>Company uniforms and equipment are supplied</li><li><strong>Opportunity</strong> for growth</li></ul><p>Onyx Fire Protection Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair and respectful treatment of all individuals.
