Job Description
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Unloading and loading trailers.</li><li>Able to match documentation for receiving and shipping with the products.</li><li>Efficient order picking and able to follow company process.</li><li>Efficient in stacking heights of up to 25 feet.</li><li>Responsible for securing load and understanding load securement method.</li><li>Carry out pre and post-trip inspections of the forklift and accurately document damages.</li><li>Occasionally perform light maintenance on the forklift.</li><li>Comply to company policies and procedures as well as industry standards.</li><li>Comply and participate with Canada Labour Code Part II (health and safety regulations) and AWSA program.</li><li>Report product defects & damages with adjoining documentation.</li><li>Report near misses and accidents.</li><li>Collection of empty chemical drums and totes on behalf of our customers.</li><li>Perform duties of a labourer.</li><li>Perform all other duties assigned by manager.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Proven work experience as a forklift operator.</li><li>Ability to work long hours and odd weekends during busy season.</li><li>Excellent focus and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to write and do basic math calculations.</li><li>Ability to work as a team and independently.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of forklift mechanical parts and operations.</li><li>Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.</li><li>Working knowledge of Apple device and IOS.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to pallet jack 1000 kg pallets of product.</li><li>TDG, WHMIS and Forklift certification obtained.</li></ul>About CWS Logistics:<br><p>CWS Logistics is a Canadian owned and operated company specializes in the transportation and warehouse management in the agriculture and consumer goods industries across Western Canada.Starting a career with CWS Logistics means you will be home daily, receive great wages, a great benefit package and a matching RRSP program.</p>
