<p><b>Company Description</b></p><p>Established Retail Furniture store who prides themselves on exceptional customer service and a personalized and welcoming shopping experience.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Role Description</b></p><p>This is a full-time position for a Furniture Delivery Specialist in Huntsville, ON. Responsibilities include delivering furniture to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring products are transported safely, and assembling furniture as needed at the delivery site. Additional duties include loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing excellent customer service during each interaction.</p><p>Other responsibilities included, but are not limited to, preparing furniture for the showroom and assisting with placing and moving furniture within the store, assisting with customer pick-ups, and receiving furniture, appliance and mattress shipments.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Experience in operating delivery vehicles and understanding of local traffic and safety laws</li><li>Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely</li><li>Customer service and communication skills to effectively interact with clients</li><li>Basic furniture assembly skills and attention to detail</li><li>Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain delivery records</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery or furniture handling is a plus</li></ul>
