<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>CRDN of BC Interior and Vancouver Island </strong>is a professional content restoration company providing cleaning and restoration services for residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, smoke, or mold damage. We are currently hiring a General Labourer to support our restoration operations.<br><br>This role involves hands-on physical work, including packing, cleaning, moving, and restoring customers belongings while maintaining safety and professionalism.<br><br><strong>Salary:</strong> to be based upon applicant&#39;s experience<br><br><strong>Work Location:</strong> Kelowna and Vancouver Island, BC<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />Pack, label, move, and transport contents from damaged properties<br />Clean and restore items affected by fire, smoke, water, or mold<br />Load and unload materials, equipment, and contents<br />Perform general labour duties at job sites and warehouse<br />Follow all health and safety regulations (including PPE use)<br />Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment<br />Work respectfully in customers homes and businesses<br />Assist team members as required<br><br><strong>Job Requirements</strong><br />Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly<br />Physically capable of standing, bending, and walking for extended periods<br />Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented<br />Comfortable working in restoration environments<br />Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures<br />Flexible availability (may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends)<br />Valid Class 5 drivers licence (asset but not required)<br><br><strong>Experience & Training</strong><br />Previous experience in restoration, moving, construction, or cleaning is an asset.<br><br><strong>What We Offer</strong><br />Competitive hourly wage<br />Overtime opportunities when available<br />On-the-job training and skill development<br />Opportunities for advancement within the company<br />Supportive and team-oriented work environment<br><br><strong>Work Conditions</strong><br />Combination of indoor and outdoor work<br />Exposure to fire-, water-, or smoke-damaged environments<br />Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)<br><br></p></p>
