<p><b>437:</b> Head of 437's In-House Creative Agency</p><p><b>Job Type:</b> Full-Time</p><p><b>Location: </b>Hybrid - Toronto Office</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>We’re looking for a candidate to help launch, lead, and run the 437 In-House Creative Agency. This person will be responsible for setting up the agency’s day-to-day operations while overseeing the production of elevated photo and video content that supports product launches, campaigns, and ongoing brand needs.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a hands-on role that blends creative production, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a key role in defining how the in-house agency operates, while ensuring the work coming out of it consistently reflects the 437 aesthetic.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>Content Leadership & Studio Ownership</p><ul><li>Own all visual content produced by the 437 In-House Creative Agency across paid, organic, and owned channels</li><li>Lead and manage the Creative team, including the Brand Designer, Creative + Social Lead, and editors, ensuring clarity on priorities, timelines, and outputs</li><li>Oversee all content that feeds into Instagram ads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, email campaigns, and web</li><li>Act as the operational lead of the in-house agency, ensuring content is delivered on time, on brief, and at a consistently high creative standard</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Creative Execution & Brand Collaboration</p><ul><li>Collaborate closely with the Creative + Social Lead on creative vision, storytelling, and brand expression</li><li>Translate creative direction and strategy into executable content plans and production workflows</li><li>Ensure all visual content aligns with 437’s brand identity, creative standards, and aesthetic</li><li>Maintain a strong understanding of what performs across platforms while protecting brand integrity</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Content Strategy & Platform Execution</p><ul><li>Implement and evolve the visual content strategy across all platforms</li><li>Build and manage content plans and posting schedules across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, & YouTube</li><li>Post and publish content across platforms as needed, ensuring consistency in cadence and execution</li><li>Monitor performance and feedback loops to continuously refine content strategy and output</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Production & Operations</p><ul><li>Lead all aspects of content production, including shoots, filming, editing workflows, and asset delivery</li><li>Operate behind the camera, overseeing execution rather than serving as on-camera talent</li><li>Manage production logistics, timelines, and deliverables across multiple content streams</li><li>Ensure final assets are organized, labeled, and accessible for cross-functional use</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Performance & Accountability</p><ul><li>Be accountable for the performance and effectiveness of all visual content produced by the 437 In-House Agency</li><li>Own creative outcomes across channels, including but not limited to social media performance, paid media performance, campaign results, and brand perception</li><li>Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to understand performance data and translate insights into creative improvements</li><li>Ensure content is not only on-brand and well executed, but also driving measurable results</li><li>Continuously assess what is and isn’t working across platforms and evolve creative strategy accordingly</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Process & Scale</p><ul><li>Establish and refine in-house processes, workflows, and standards as the agency grows</li><li>Create systems that allow content production to scale efficiently across platforms and campaigns</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and creative output over time</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 6 years of experience at an agency or similar role</li><li>Experience with brand-forward and social-forward accounts</li><li>You're a self-stater with experience in creative production, studio management, or content operations.</li><li>You’re highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once</li><li>You have a strong eye for creative and understand what makes content feel elevated and on-brand</li><li>You’re collaborative, proactive, and calm under pressure</li><li>You’re excited to work at a growing startup and thrive in a flexible, collaborative environment where roles evolve as the company and market change.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Nice to Have</p><ul><li>Experience in fashion, activewear, or consumer brands</li><li>Experience managing both photo and video production</li><li>Experience managing a team/leadership experience</li><li>Familiarity with content needs across e-commerce and social platforms</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why You’ll Love Working Here</b></p><ul><li>4-day workweek year-round</li><li>Education advancement fund to support your continued learning and growth</li><li>Competitive benefits, with premiums covered by 437</li><li>Exclusive 437 staff discounts and product perks</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>To apply please send your resume and/or CV to catherine@shop437.com.</b> Applications sent through Linkedin will not be accepted.</p><p><br></p><p>Applications close January 30th at 11:59pm.</p>Create Your Resume First
