<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Our client partner covers the road and paving sector and is a leader in the Toronto Area. They are currently hiring for an Intermediate Health & Safety <span >Coordinator/Officer</span> for their operations with projects throughout the Toronto region. Projects include working around civil and MTO works.<br><br><strong>Duties</strong><br /><ul><li>Day-to-day coordination, both on-site and office based in a fast-paced business unit</li><li>Maintain Safety Management System (SMS) databases, administer sub-contractor programs, support job sites with project safety plans.</li><li>Train and coach junior coordinators regarding correct safety procedures and protocols</li><li>Recording and maintenance of the incident statistical database.</li><li>Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee functions at office location and actively participate on the Committee.</li><li>Coordinate Health and Safety Training as required.</li><li>Produce regular reports and documentation as required.</li><li>Liaise closely with clients, inspectors and peers in regards to ongoing safety for projects </li></ul><strong>Education and skill requirements</strong><br /><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety (pursuing or completed) or sufficient credentials, NCSO or CRSP etc</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills</li><li>Strong ability to multitask</li></ul> $85,000 - $100,000 + vehicle<br><br>All applications will be reviewed by the consultant posting the job and NOT an ATS tracker.
