<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Human Resources Coordinator – Onsite – Montreal </strong></p><p><strong>Aspire Software is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing People team!</strong></p><p>This is a fully onsite role based in our Montreal office and requires daily, in-person presence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, decentralized environment, takes ownership without being asked, and is energized by building strong, compliant HR operations across both the <strong>United States and Canada</strong>. You will play a critical role in supporting employees and leaders while ensuring our people practices are compliant, scalable, and employee-centric.</p><p>The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with an HR Business Partner and support a portfolio of software businesses operating across North America.</p><p><strong>Here is a little window into our company:</strong> Aspire Software, the operational arm of Valsoft Corp, operates and manages Valsoft’s global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.</p><p>Our motto is <strong>“Be Humble, Stay Hungry!”</strong></p><p><strong>The successful candidate will be based within commutable distance of our office in Saint-Laurent, Montreal, working in an on-site work model! </strong></p><p><strong>What your day will look like:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a first point of contact for employees, providing timely, thoughtful support on HR policies, processes, and employment-related questions</li><li>Operate within our HR helpdesk system to manage and resolve employee inquiries efficiently and accurately</li><li>Maintain employee data and documentation in BambooHR and related systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality</li><li>Support compliance with US federal, state, and local employment laws as well as Canadian federal and provincial employment legislation </li><li>Assist in maintaining compliant HR policies and practices across jurisdictions, flagging risks and proactively recommending improvements</li><li>Conduct regular audits of employee files and HR processes to ensure compliance with legal, internal, and SOC 2 requirements</li><li>Update and maintain HRIS (BambooHR) and other employee-related documents</li></ul><ul><li>Own and continuously improve onboarding processes to ensure a strong, consistent employee experience</li><li>Coordinate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition</li><li>Support compensation-related activities, including offer letters, promotions, salary changes, and bonus documentation</li><li>Partner with the HR Business Partner to support employee engagement, development, and recognition initiatives</li></ul><ul><li>Proactively take on stretch projects to support strategic initiatives and learn new skills in support of business priorities</li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3+ years related experience, ideally in a multi-entity or fast-growing environment</strong></li><li><strong>A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field</strong></li><li><strong>Hands-on experience with both US and Canadian employment laws and compliance requirements</strong></li><li><strong>Proven experience navigating, completing data entry, and generating reports in an HRIS</strong></li><li><strong>Demonstrated problem-solving skills to analyze issues, propose solutions, and address challenges</strong></li><li>Skilled at providing clear, effective, and timely communication</li><li>Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment</li><li>You are highly curious, welcome questions, and delight in providing information and solutions for others</li><li>You have a growth mindset and are adaptable to change</li><li>Self-starter, able to work both independently and as an active member of both business and HR teams</li><li><strong>Fluency in both written and verbal English and French is essential </strong></li><li><strong>Legally authorized to work in Canada is essential</strong></li></ul><p>For information about <strong>Aspire Software</strong>, please visit our website at <span >www.aspiresoftware.com</span></p><p><strong>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.</strong></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
