Join Our Team as a Journeyman Plumber! <br /><br />We are an Edmonton and area service company. Our team specializes in commercial, industrial and multi-dwelling heating, cooling, plumbing and mechanical services. Fossil prides itself on its healthy team orientated working culture, customer relationship and quality workmanship.<br /><br />We are currently looking to expand our growing and dynamic team by adding an experienced Plumber/Gasfitter with service and projects experience. Bringing a positive attitude to the job site is an absolute must. Safe work practices are non-negotiable.<br /><br /> QUALIFICATIONS : <br /><br />- Ticketed Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter<br />- Class A gas is an asset<br />- Class B gas is required minimum<br />- Must have valid drivers licence with clean record in order to operate a company vehicle.<br />- 5 years minimum previous experience in the service, construction and renovation industry<br />- Understanding of provincial codes and standards in Alberta<br />- Must be confident to work independently and willing to instruct apprentices as needed<br />- Mechanically inclined with great problem solving skills<br />- Strong ability to adapt to different job surroundings and circumstances throughout the day<br />- Comfortable working outdoors year round if required<br /><br /> JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : <br />- Perform all scheduled/assigned jobs daily<br />- Drive to and from worksites in Edmonton and area<br />- Installation of new piping systems, removal and demo of old piping<br />- Trouble shoot and maintain boilers and heating systems<br />- Servicing commercial and multi dwelling buildings<br />- Instal, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing, fixtures and systems<br />- Assemble and install valves and fittings, demo through walls and floors to accommodate pipe, use snaking equipment if required, steaming lines etc.<br /><br /> What We Offer: <br /><br /> Comprehensive health benefits , including vision and dental coverage.<br /> RRSP contributions to help you plan for your future.<br /> Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to support your career growth.<br /> The potential for future role expansion , giving you the chance to advance as we grow.<br /> A supportive team environment where your expertise is valued and your professional growth is encouraged.<br /><br />We thank all applicants for their interest, however only considered applicants will be contacted.<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Expected hours: 40 per week<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Dental care<br /> Extended health care<br /> Vision care<br><br>Experience:<br /> plumbing: 3 years (preferred)<br /><br />Work Location: In personCreate Your Resume First
