Job Description

<p>This position runs open board Canada/U.S. long-haul and Canada LCV lanes when freight is available.</p><p>Required to be on the road 7 to 10 days at a time averaging 20,000 miles per month.</p><ul><li>Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states</li><li>Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories</li><li>Required to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year</li><li>Required to drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year</li><li>Required to drive in California, and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year</li><li>Requires 24 days on the road per month. Resets on the road as required</li><li>Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demand</li><li>Regional freight will be required</li><li>Must be able to haul all commodities</li></ul><p><b>Candidate Profile:</b></p><ul><li>Owner-Operator Team with 24 months tractor trailer driving experience.</li><li>Must have a Bunk Truck</li><li>Tractors must be equipped with a DEF system</li><li>Must have a minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience including operating during winter conditions</li><li>FAST card is an asset</li><li>Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience</li><li>Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience</li><li>Reefer experience is required</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more</li><li>Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license</li><li>Reliable, flexible, and punctual</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Values safety</li></ul><p>Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
