<p><h3>LTO Secondary: 1.0 Intermediate Science (Semester 2 only)</h3><p>As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for the Durham District School Board, you will create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You’ll bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.</p>
<p>The Durham District School Board acknowledges the longstanding relationships Indigenous Nations have with the territories upon which our schools are located. We recognize that this area is home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island. The Durham Region is part of the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, the Mississauga Peoples and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. It is on these ancestral and treaty lands that we teach, live and learn.</p>

<h3>Qualifications And Additional Information</h3>
<ul>
<li>Required subject qualifications: Intermediate Science</li>
<li>FTE: 1.0</li>
<li>Grade(s)/assignment: grades 9 and 10</li>
<li>Tentative course codes (if known): SNC 2D and SNC 1W</li>
<li>Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing</li>
<li>Secondary LTO Salary Range: $57,986 to $119,967/year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro‑rated based on the position FTE).</li>
