<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright (433A) - Scarborough<br><br><strong>Pay:</strong> <strong>$45–$49 per hour</strong><br /><strong>Type:</strong> Full-Time | Permanent<br /><strong>Schedule:</strong> Rotating shifts + overtime as required<br><br> A well-established manufacturing operation is looking to add a <strong>licensed 433A Millwright</strong> to its maintenance team. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production and facility equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.<br><br> If you’re a mechanically strong millwright who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment, this is a solid long-term opportunity.<br><br> What You’ll Be Doing <ul><li>Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and non-production equipment</li><li>Work on HVAC systems, air compressors, pumps, fillers, cappers, labelers, blenders, and encapsulation equipment</li><li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime</li><li>Diagnose and repair packaging, tabulating, and blending equipment</li><li>Strong focus on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting</li><li>Assist with installation, rigging, and relocation of equipment</li><li>Perform welding repairs on machine components as required</li><li>Prepare purchase orders for parts and materials</li><li>Document maintenance work and parts usage per SOP requirements</li><li>Maintain tools and shop equipment in good working order</li><li>Support other maintenance functions as needed</li></ul> Safety & Compliance <ul><li>Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures</li><li>Work in compliance with SOPs and safety responsibilities</li><li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in sensitive areas</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment</li></ul> What We’re Looking For <ul><li><strong>433A Licensed Millwright (required)</strong></li><li>Ontario Secondary School Diploma</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:<br /><ul><li>Pneumatics</li><li>Hydraulics</li><li>Electrical systems</li></ul></li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and schematics</li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical or natural health manufacturing is an asset</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Willing and able to work rotating shifts and overtime</li><li>Clear communication skills and ability to work well with others</li></ul> What You Get <ul><li><strong>$45–$49/hour</strong>, based on experience</li><li>Steady, full-time work</li><li>Well-maintained facility and equipment</li><li>Team-based maintenance environment</li><li>Opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery</li></ul> If you’re a licensed millwright who takes pride in doing the job right and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently, this role is worth a look.</p></p>Create Your Resume First
