<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced <b>Night Nannies / Postpartum Doulas / Newborn Care Specialists </b>to support families during the critical early weeks after birth. This role focuses on overnight newborn care and parent support, helping families rest, recover, and transition confidently into life with a newborn.</p><p>You will work closely with parents to provide attentive, evidence-based care in a calm and professional home environment.</p><h3>Compensation</h3><p><b>Compensation: </b>Expected Compensation: $24.00 – $35.00 per hour<br/>Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and scope of practice and falls within the expected range for this role.</p><h3>Employment Details</h3><ul><li><b>Employment Type:</b> Contract (Flexible)</li><li><b>Work Location:</b> Client homes across Toronto, ON</li><li><b>Vacancy Status:</b> This posting reflects an <b>existing vacancy</b></li><li><b>Schedule:</b> Overnight shifts; flexible availability from 1–6 nights per week</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide overnight newborn care, including feeding support, soothing, and settling</li><li>Support infant sleep routines using safe, developmentally appropriate practices</li><li>Assist parents with postpartum education and reassurance</li><li>Monitor infant well-being and communicate observations to parents</li><li>Maintain a calm, respectful, and confidential home environment</li><li>Follow evidence-based newborn safety and care standards</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3><ul><li>Postpartum Doula training & certification, Newborn Care Specialist certification, or equivalent experience</li><li>Background in Nursing (RN/RPN), Midwifery, or related healthcare fields is strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years of professional newborn care experience (required)</li><li>CPR & First Aid certification (current or recently issued preferred)</li><li>Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation (preferred)</li><li>Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)</li></ul><h3>International Experience Welcome</h3><p>We welcome applications from internationally trained nurses, midwives, and care professionals. Canadian experience is <b>not required</b>.
