<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Nurse 2 - Intensive Care Med/Surg role at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA). Department/Unit: Intensive Care Med/Surg. Job stream: Clinical. Work arrangement: In Person. Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. FTE: 0.75. Anticipated Shift: Days; Nights. Daily Hours Worked: 11.63. Annual Base Hours: 2015. Salary: $41.733, $43.191, $44.652, $46.173, $47.665, $49.208, $50.191, $51.196.</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Winnipeg | <strong>Employer</strong>: St. Boniface Hospital | <strong>Department / Unit</strong>: Intensive Care Med/Surg</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.</li>
<li>Deliver independent nursing services and administer prescribed medical treatments.</li>
<li>Assume a leadership role within the health care team and coordinate patient care and discharge planning.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications and Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required.</li>
<li>Current CRNM registration required.</li>
<li>Active participation in professional associations (e.g., Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred).</li>
<li>Annual BLS Level C registration/re-registration required.</li>
<li>Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post-graduate ICU nursing or equivalent experience is required.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Certifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Current CRNM registration; BLS Level C as applicable.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Other Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check required as conditions of employment. Security check valid within six (6) months prior to start of employment.</li>
<li>Interviewed candidates may be asked to participate in a skills assessment.</li>
