There may be other hours available if seeking a full-time schedule with client. </strong></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong>: </p><ul><li>Provide personal care and assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene support, bathing, and medication administration, within the scope of practice for an RPN or RN.</li><li>Deliver exceptional patient care as outlined in individualized care plans, addressing all relevant medical needs.</li><li>Ensure client safety and use equipment properly and responsibly.</li><li>Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises as required.</li><li>Monitor and assess patients&#39; medical health, as well as their physical and mental well-being.</li><li>Practice safely and competently, working within the limits of experience and knowledge.</li><li>Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and records.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Must have</strong> complex care experience with:</p><ul><li>G-tube and J-tube feeding</li><li>Oxygen therapy</li><li>Seizure monitoring and management<br /></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred experience</strong> with:</p><ul><li>Tracheostomy care</li><li>Invasive and non-invasive ventilation</li><li>Cough assist</li><li>Suctioning (deep, oral, nasal)</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>**We are happy to provide training for the right candidate**</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Owning a vehicle and a valid driver’s license is an asset (not required).</li><li>Negative TB test completed within the last year.</li><li>Active CNO Registration and Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Certificate.</li><li>COVID-19 vaccination receipts (subject to exemption under the Ontario Human Rights Code).</li><li>Valid Criminal Record Check (completed within the last year).</li><li>Current CPR/First Aid certification.</li><li>Valid WHMIS 2015 certification.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators as needed.</li><li>Must be okay with essential oils, including eucalyptus and lavender. </li><li>Must be detail-oriented and organized and have strong clinical judgement. </li><li>Must be okay to reposition clients up to 100lbs. </li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p></p><ul><li><strong>Competitive rates of pay, depending on shift worked (RPN: $37.25- $40.25/hour) (RN: $47.75-$50.75/hour) </strong></li><li>Opportunity for Group Health and Dental Benefits for Full-Time employees </li><li>PPE provided</li><li>24/7 Nursing Oversight</li><li>Educational Training Opportunities</li><li>Employee Recognition Program</li><li>Health and Wellness Program</li></ul></p></p>
