If you're an entrepreneurial NP who loves blending clinical work with program design and quality improvement, you'll feel right at home here.<br><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br><b>Clinical Operations & Quality (biologics infusion clinic)</b><ul><li>Support day-to-day operations and nursing workflows; mentor RNs; promote best practices for safe biologic infusions.</li><li>Draft/maintain policies, procedures, and clinical pathways; lead quality & safety initiatives (audits, incident reviews, KPI tracking).</li><li>Contribute to business development (service design, new clinic offerings, partnerships).</li></ul><b>Direct Patient Care (within NP scope)</b><ul><li>Provide in-clinic care alongside local GIs, dermatologists, neurologists and ophthalmologists (episodic primary care, preventative care, chronic disease management, patient education, coordination/transition care).</li><li>Support IBD patients pre/post-infusion (assessment, monitoring, symptom management, education, navigation).</li><li>Document thoroughly in the EMR; order appropriate tests/consults; collaborate closely with the interprofessional team.</li></ul><b>Education & Community of Practice</b><ul><li>Develop and deliver patient and team member education (e.g., self-management, meds adherence, infusion readiness).</li><li>Help build the IBD community of practice (case rounds, journal clubs, guideline adoption, outcomes review).</li></ul><b>Qualifications:</b><br><b>Must-haves</b><ul><li>Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as NP (PHC or Adult) in good standing, with appropriate PLP. </li><li>4+ years primary care NP experience.</li><li>Comfortable with technology and EMRs; strong written & verbal communication.</li><li>Organized, flexible, collaborative, and eager to build exceptional programming.</li></ul><b>Nice-to-haves</b><ul><li>Experience in IBD management, infusion therapy or specialty clinic settings.</li><li>Clinic operations/quality improvement experience (policy writing, metrics/KPIs, audit cycles).</li><li>Preceptorship/mentorship experience.</li></ul><b>Schedule & Location</b><br>Casual/part-time to start; potential to scale toward full-time as programs grow. Primarily on-site across Whitby/Oshawa (head office, GI offices, infusion clinic).
