This position will be full-time and reports to the Packaging Lead.</p><p>Prior brewery or packaging experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a team and on their own while supporting the policies, goals and safety practices of Banded Peak Brewing.</p><p><b>About Us</b></p><p>Banded Peak Brewing started from humble beginnings with three friends opening a brewery and taproom in Calgary in May of 2016. Since then, Banded Peak has grown into a thriving brewery with a strong taproom program and distribution across the prairies. Banded Peak is a leader in innovation in styles as well as growing taproom culture in Calgary by championing the establishment of the Barley Belt, a district with Alberta's highest concentration of taprooms. Banded Peak has been a strong partner of the outdoor community in Alberta, with a passion for making adventurous beer for adventurous people. </p><p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Follow SOPs to execute brewery process according to company policy.</li><li>Consistently follow all guidelines and routines around safety, quality, and sanitization.</li><li>Execute duties efficiently in line with the packaging schedule.</li><li>Wrapping and organizing pallets of finished goods.</li><li>Strapping and organizing blank cans.</li><li>Keeping a tidy and organized workspace.</li><li>Packing cans into trays and palletizing them.</li><li>Inspect cans during packaging for defects/damage.</li><li>Washing empty kegs.</li><li>Palletizing full kegs.</li><li>Performing chemical tests using a titration kit.</li><li>Handling chemicals using appropriate PPE.</li><li>Participate and engage with other internal brewery groups as needed including R&D, Safety and QA.</li><li>Increase beer culture in the brewery and outside by sharing your knowledge and passion of beer.</li><li>Positive representation of Banded Peak at internal and external events.</li></ul><p><b>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>A passion for craft beer</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Previous experience at a commercial production brewery</li><li>Previous warehouse experience</li><li>Forklift experience certification</li><li>Valid driver's license</li></ul><p><b>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</b> </p><p>At Labatt Breweries of Canada, we are an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to maintaining a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for every person – regardless of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion, neurodivergence, or disability status.   </p><p><b>REQUIRE ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE?</b> </p><p>Labatt Breweries of Canada is committed to fair and equitable recruiting practices.
