We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p><p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>Job Description<p>Allied Universal is seeking<strong> a Parking Enforcement Officer </strong>in Winnipeg, Manitoba.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Title: Parking Enforcement Officer</strong></p><p><strong>Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba</strong></p><p><strong>Job Type: Full-Time</strong></p><p><strong>Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour</strong></p><p><strong>Shifts: Monday- Friday 0800 - 1630 -Full Availability Required.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>OVERVIEW:</strong></p><p> </p><p>Allied Universal is seeking <strong>Parking Enforcement Officer </strong>to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg. </p><p> </p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Apply thorough knowledge of all parking regulations, by-laws and procedures and enforce them through the issuance of a Parking Offence Notice (PON) in accordance with the policies of the Parking Authority</li><li>Conducting routine patrols of designated parking areas, streets, and public spaces to monitor compliance with parking regulations</li><li>Issue parking citations or tickets to vehicles that violate parking regulations, such as parking in restricted zones, expired meters, or unauthorized spaces</li><li>Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations, restrictions, and enforcement procedures through communication with motorists and the distribution of informational materials</li><li>Respond to complaints from residents, businesses, or other agencies regarding parking violations, illegally parked vehicles, or other related issues</li><li>Coordinate with towing companies or authorities to remove vehicles that are parked illegally, abandoned, or pose a hazard to public safety</li><li>Maintain accurate records of parking violations, citations issued, and enforcement actions taken, including photographs or documentation as necessary</li><li>Provide testimony and evidence in court proceedings related to parking violations and enforcement actions</li><li>Resolve disputes or conflicts related to parking violations through effective communication and mediation with motorists and stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies, traffic engineers, transportation departments, and municipal officials to address parking-related issues and improve enforcement strategies</li><li>Record and report daily statistics</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of 25 years of age for driving position</li><li>Minimum of Class 5 Full Driver's License</li><li>Minimum of one year of driving experience in Canada</li><li>Knowledge of parking regulations, traffic laws, and enforcement procedures.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision</li><li>Able to utilize sound judgment in enforcing parking regulations</li><li>Detail-oriented with proficient record-keeping abilities</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in law enforcement, parking enforcement, or a related field preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><p><strong>DISCLAIMER:</strong></p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
