<p>Position Information</p><p>Position Title</p><p>Part-Time Academic (Fundamentals of Speech Science - CMSD Winter 2026</p><p>Posting Number</p><p>PTAP3135P</p><p>Department/Unit</p><p>Communication Sciences & Disorders</p><p>Location</p><p>Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada</p><p>Job Summary & Key Responsibilities</p><p>The Sessional Lecturer will teach the one-half credit course, CMSD 5050: Fundamentals of Speech Science, in the Master of Science program in speech-language pathology and audiology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the winter term January to April </p><p>Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course and reports to the Director of the School.</p><p>Qualifications/Requirements of Position</p><p>A graduate degree, expertise in the area of speech and hearing acoustics, and relevant teaching experience.</p><p>Salary Range/Pay Rate</p><p>Per CUPE Collective Agreement</p><p>Additional Information</p><p>All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority. </p><p>Dalhousie University commits to achieving inclusive excellence through continually championing equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
