We take pride in doing things the right way and supporting the people who keep our business moving.</p><p></p><p>We’re currently looking for a <b>Payroll Administrator</b> to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll, this could be the role for you.</p><p></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong>: As the <strong>Payroll Administrator</strong>, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Canadian employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll manage payroll processing, maintain detailed records, and partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to support a smooth and compliant payroll function. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Process Canadian payroll accurately and on schedule</li><li>Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial payroll regulations (Quebec knowledge is an asset)</li><li>Review payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary corrections</li><li>Prepare payroll reports for internal teams</li><li>Support year-end activities, including T4 and RL-1 preparation</li><li>Maintain accurate employee payroll records, deductions, and garnishments</li><li>Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity</li><li>Provide payroll data and support to HR and Finance as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in a related field; PCP designation is an asset</li><li>Minimum 1 year of payroll or general office experience</li><li>Working knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation</li><li>Experience with payroll systems (Payworks considered an asset)</li><li>Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information</li><li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team</li></ul><p></p><p>If you’re looking to grow your payroll career in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you.</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
