The successful candidate will be accountable for supporting the team in the following areas:<br><br>Main responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Enforce strong payroll controls and validation procedures to ensure compliance with eligibility rules, premiums, and overtime payments</p></li><li><p>Review timesheets, approvals, and supporting documentation for accuracy before payroll submission</p></li><li><p>Research payroll discrepancies</p></li><li><p>Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried, union and non-union employees</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate payroll and time & attendance records</p></li><li><p>Support period-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting, including T4s, WSIB, and audit support</p></li><li><p>Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, eligibility, premiums, and reconciliations</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About the candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years&#39; experience in a similar role</li><li>Experience and proficiency using Payroll systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now -</li><li>PCP (payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is a strong asset </li></ul><p><br /></p>TSSHP LI-TS1</p></p>
