In this role, youll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeedwhile shaping the future of AI for local economies.</p><p><br /></p><p>About the Job</p><p>In this role, youll act as a trusted advisor across the business, supporting leaders and employees with people strategies that drive recruitment success, talent development, and employee engagement. Youll focus on delivering responsive, AI-enhanced solutions across the employee lifecycle, from attracting top talent to fostering continuous growth and retention. This is your opportunity to directly influence Vendastas culture and growth while contributing to our mission of building thriving, inclusive teams.</p><p><br /></p><p>Your Impact</p><p>As a People Partner, youll work closely with leaders across the organization and the People Operations team to:</p><ul><li>Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer, ensuring alignment with Vendastas culture and business goals.</li><li>Support performance management practices, coach managers on employee relations, and guide leadership in fostering high-performing teams.</li><li>Deliver engagement strategies by analyzing survey data, conducting exit and stay interviews, and collaborating on inclusive workplace initiatives.</li><li>Optimize people operations by leveraging AI tools, HR systems, and data insights to create efficiencies and improve decision-making.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What You Bring to the Table</p><p>You are a collaborative problem-solver with 35 years of progressive experience in HR or recruitment. You bring:</p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resources (CPHR designation or working toward it is an asset)</li><li>Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and managing candidate experience</li><li>Experience coaching managers on performance management, feedback, and employee relations</li><li>Ability to analyze and present people data to inform engagement and retention strategies</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust across all levels of an organization</li><li>Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Lattice) and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace)</li><li>Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline workflows and enhance people processes (asset)</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>About Vendasta</p><p>We help businesses get more customersand keep them.
