<p>Principal Engineer</p><p>Contract Opportunity - 6 months +</p><p>Start Date - ASAP</p><p>Markham, ON - 4 days per week in office</p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and lead the development of modern, scalable applications.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Design and develop robust, scalable applications that meet business requirements.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of engineers<br> , fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.</li><li>Architect solutions across a variety of tech stacks, including Java, React, Python, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript, and C#.</li><li>Implement cloud-based solutions using platforms like<br> Azure<br> and AWS.</li><li>Develop and maintain microservices and<br> APIs<br> , utilizing containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.</li><li>Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.</li><li>Manage and optimize databases, whether SQL, NoSQL, or hybrid solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Deep expertise in designing and developing modern, scalable applications.</li><li>Extensive experience across multiple tech stacks (Java, React, Python, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript, C#, etc.).</li><li>Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.</li><li>Familiarity with microservices architecture, APIs, and containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker).</li><li>Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.</li><li>Solid database skills (SQL, NoSQL, or hybrid solutions).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or DevOps practices.</li></ul>
