<h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are the TD Procurement team dedicated to supporting TD Securities (TDS) – a fast‑growing and dynamic division (also known on the street as Capital Markets). Our team plays a critical role in enabling TDS to operate efficiently, responsibly, and competitively as we engage with third‑party partners across the globe.</p>
<p><b>Sourcing (Day 1 Activities)</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Managing competitive bid events (e.g., RFx)</li>
<li>Running vendor selection processes</li>
<li>Leading contract negotiations</li>
<li>Partnering with the business to develop sourcing strategies and drive value</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Vendor Management (Day 2 Activities)</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ongoing contract management</li>
<li>Supplier performance oversight</li>
<li>Risk, compliance, and control management</li>
<li>Relationship management with third‑party partners throughout the life of the contract</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Interface with stakeholders across the organization, internal business partners, subject matter experts, other SSG members and third parties to support source execution.</li>
<li>Manage sourcing initiatives covering a range of complexity that support TD and business partner needs and objectives.</li>
<li>Place purchase orders, coordinate with vendors, and track PO progress.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy of purchase requisitions, PO details, and vendor invoicing.</li>
<li>Proactively engage with the Strategic Sourcing Functions to identify new opportunities to leverage purchasing tools and processes.</li>
<li>Support monthly reporting and tracking for departmental KPIs and savings targets.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>2+ years of related experience in supply chain or vendor management.</li>
<li>Good communication, negotiation, influencing skills with an analytical mindset.</li>
</ul>
