This role is a hybrid position with a requirement to attend the office 3 days a week, or more depending on the needs of the business. Effective March 2026, the role will transition to a fully office-based schedule of 5 days per week in the office.</p><p><b>About This Role</b> Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, Pricing and following Company and Procurement policies and procedures, the Pricing Administrator ensures that pricing data for funeral and cemetery products is accurate and up-to-date and meets company profit margins.</p><p><b>Job Type:</b> Full Time, Permanent</p><p>This is a current vacancy and we are actively seeking to fill this position.</p><h3>Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities</h3><ul><li>Completion of college diploma in business or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost structure and pricing is considered an asset.</li><li>Reliable individual with exceptional organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.</li><li>Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Excellent computer and analytic skills and at least 2 years using MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Experience with SharePoint would be an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated strong internal customer service skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, belonging, teamwork and excellence.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain pricing and other financial information for funeral and cemetery products and services to reflect established profit strategies for Funeral and Cemetery.</li><li>Liaise with suppliers to ensure Arbor systems have up-to-date supplier contact information, price lists, product details, and product images.</li><li>Review and evaluate new product requests from branches and HO CoEs.</li><li> <ul><li>If the request meets the established guidelines, set up new products, ensuring provincial approval is received where applicable.</li><li>If the request does not meet the established guidelines, provide pricing recommendations and profit analyses to the Pricing Supervisor after considering supplier costs, commissions, overrides, and perpetual care.</li></ul></li><li>Set up product codes and pricing for new burial spaces in collaboration with Construction & Development, Branch Managers, and Finance ensuring the business case targets are met.</li><li>Review and process product code inventory changes for burial spaces, crypts, and niches. Work with cemetery branches and the Construction & Development as required.</li><li>Prepare bulk files for review when multiple products are being updated as part of our annual update or at the branch’s request.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Funeral and Cemetery provincial requirements across the country, including maintaining Cemetery price lists and submitting price changes for regulatory approval as required.</li><li>Inform Cemetery and Funeral branches of impending cost or pricing changes and update pricing information and content on various Arbor platforms.</li><li>Maintain the content and quality control of product images in the point of sales system.</li><li>Monitor the shared inboxes, responding to requests, forwarding or filing emails, and vendor documents when applicable.</li><li>Work in collaboration with Procurement Supervisor, Pricing for all service and product issues and complaints.</li><li>Respond to policy and procedural inquiries from the branches and consult with the Procurement Supervisor, Pricing when required.</li><li>Prepare analysis and determine quantities for bulk inventory orders.</li><li>Place and submit custom granite base and bulk inventory orders and revisions to vendors.</li><li>Communicate with vendors and branches concerning order issues, deliveries, discrepancies, inquiries, and status in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve issues when applicable.</li><li>Process vendor invoices for custom and bulk purchases, follow up on invoice discrepancies, and reconcile statements as required.</li><li>Support the Procurement Supervisor, Pricing in calculating selling prices for custom products such as monuments, private crypts, granite dedication products, and cremation products when required. Submits the information to the Pricing Supervisor for review or directly to the branches as established in the playbook/Custom Project documentation.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned as required, in addition to the principal duties and responsibilities outlined above.</li></ul><h3>About Us</h3><p>At Arbor Memorial, your career can mean more.
