<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>About the Project:</p><p></p><p>The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.</p><p></p><p>Position Overview</p><p></p><p>The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the procurement, contract administration, and vendor management functions for the ECWE SRS Project. This role will play a key part in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services, in alignment with project schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.</p><p><br><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p></p><ul><li>Coordinate and manage end-to-end procurement activities for goods, equipment, and subcontracted services related to stations, rail, and systems packages.</li><li>Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations to Tender (ITTs) in compliance with procurement policies and project requirements.</li><li>Analyze bids, conduct commercial evaluations, and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and terms.</li><li>Draft, review, and process purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and change orders.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, construction, project controls, and commercial teams to ensure technical and schedule requirements are captured in procurement documents.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier communications, contracts, and reporting documentation.</li><li>Support project reporting requirements by providing procurement status updates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, safety, and quality standards, as well as Metrolinx and consortium requirements.</li><li>Assist in resolving supplier disputes, claims, or performance issues.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Qualifications & Experience:</p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of procurement or contract administration experience, preferably within large infrastructure, transportation, or construction projects.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement practices, tendering procedures, and contract law (CCDC/RAIC/FIDIC or equivalent).</li><li>Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and MS Office Suite.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative project environment.</li><li>Professional certification (SCMP, CPSM, PMP, or equivalent) considered an asset.</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
