This is a very growth and team forward organization with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results, and is driven by its people to elevate each other through collaboration.</p><p><strong>What's In It For You:</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible Schedule and work life balance</li><li>Extended Benefits Plan</li><li>RRSP Match</li><li>Company pension</li><li>Opportunities for professional development</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Project Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of projects including scope, schedule, budget, procurement, quality and risk.</li><li>Develops preliminary and final budgets for capital projects.</li><li>Directs and monitors construction schedules, approves progress payments, creates change orders.</li><li>Manage all aspects related to daily production, production issues, extra claims management and related time and material cost management.</li><li>Assists in design layouts, prepares and reads engineering drawings and specifications.</li><li>Liaise with authorities to ensure timely approval of permits to maintain schedules.</li></ul><p><strong>Estimating and Budgeting:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop accurate and detailed project estimates for civil infrastructure projects including labor, materials, and equipment costs.</li><li>Review plans and specifications to determine scope of work and define project requirements.</li><li>Outline and communicate project requirements and timelines.</li><li>Review drawings and understand design intent.</li><li>Solicit quotes and tendering contracts from consultants, trades people and suppliers.</li><li>Issue purchase orders, subcontracts and prepare construction schedules.</li><li>Prepare quantity take-offs for labor, materials, equipment and sub-contractors.</li><li>Quote contemplated changes notices and manage change orders.</li><li>Manage site instructions, RFI's and responses.</li></ul><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of <span >supervisory/leadership</span> experience</li><li>Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in underground infrastructure projects</li><li>Strong background preparing consulting and construction contracts</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proven negotiation skills</li><li>Experience leading contractors and consultants</li><li>Proficiency with estimating software (B2W, Bluebeam, Excel), as well as project management software experience is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel, B2W, Bluebeam</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process:</strong><br />Click apply if you think this role is for you!, If you are a qualified candidate with questions please reach out to Chris Soules.<br><br><span >csoules@talentsphere.ca</span></p><p><em>*only those selected for interview process will be contacted*</em></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
