This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, hands-on architect with experience managing multiple projects from design through construction.</p><p>Our client delivers award-winning work in the commercial, industrial, residential, and medical sectors, and offers meaningful involvement across all project phases. If you're looking for variety, autonomy, and a team-oriented culture this is the role for you.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><br><p>Planning & Design:</p><ul><li><p>Meet with clients to gather project requirements and ensure alignment.</p></li><li><p>Conduct code reviews and assess design options with a value-engineering lens.</p></li><li><p>Approve internal and consultant proposals and budgets.</p></li><li><p>Oversee production of working drawings and technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Review material selections and coordinate with municipal authorities.</p></li></ul><p>Construction:</p><ul><li><p>Manage tender phase: evaluate bids, support client decisions.</p></li><li><p>Conduct contract administration throughout construction.</p></li><li><p>Review shop drawings, coordinate with sub-consultants.</p></li><li><p>Lead site visits, address RFIs, and resolve construction issues efficiently.</p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li><p>Degree in Architecture or related field.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the commercial and industrial sectors.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of building systems, Ontario Building Code, and construction detailing.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.</p></li></ul><p>This position offers a salary range of $65,000-$120,000, depending on experience.
