<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Job Title: Technical Writer<br /> Location: Mississauga, ON<br /> 12 month renewable contract <br /> 5 days onsite<br /> Postal Code: L5T <br /> Area Codes: 647, 437, 416<br /> Keywords: #techwriterjobs #technicalwriting #aerospacejobs<br><br> Areas of Expertise:<br /> Create and revise customer-facing technical documentation for engine maintenance and overhaul, adhering to industry standards.<br><br> Key Responsibilities:<br /> * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and specifications for products&#39; maintenance and overhaul manuals. <br /> * Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences. <br /> * Create and include technical illustrations, diagrams, and schematics to improve understanding of maintenance and overhaul procedures. <br /> * Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements, company guidelines, and safety standards. <br /> * Conduct usability testing and collect feedback from end-users to improve the quality and effectiveness of manuals.<br /> * Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy standards.<br><br> Required Job Qualifications:<br /> * College degree in design and drafting or, AME certification.<br /> * Excellent communication skills.<br /> * Sound gas turbine engine knowledge.<br /> * Solid computer skills (MS Suite and 3D/2D CAD software).<br /> * Familiarity with SGML or XML writing is a plus.<br><br></p></p>
