This work demands precision, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality in order to meet strict regulatory standards.</p><p>Please note: These are upcoming roles.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Review job specifications carefully and complete all required documentation to meet production and compliance standards</li><li>Operate folding machinery to produce booklets that meet exact pharmaceutical requirements</li><li>Monitor machine performance, prevent jams, and conduct regular quality checks to identify and correct issues quickly</li><li>Prepare packaging materials (trays, cartons) and shrink-wrap finished products for distribution</li><li>Set up and run Longford and outsert machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for each production run</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to maintain machine readiness</li><li>Collaborate with quality inspectors and conduct final quality checks in line with industry regulations</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while assisting with additional production tasks as required</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>2–3 years of machine operation experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or paper manufacturing</li><li>Hands-on experience with at least one acceptable machine type (listed below) — applications lacking this experience will not be considered</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to producing high-quality work</li><li>Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for 10-hour shifts</li><li>Strong attendance, punctuality, and willingness to learn new processes or machinery</li><li>CSA-approved safety shoes and reliable transportation (required due to shift times and location)</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Training & Growth</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive training program (1–3 months) covering machine operation and quality control procedures</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Shift Information</strong></p><ul><li>Monday to Thursday: 3:48 pm – 1:48 am</li><li>Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm</li><li>Future possibility: Weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 10-hour shifts) — not currently available</li><li>Reliable transportation required; transit may not operate during end-of-shift hours</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Acceptable Machinery Experience</strong></p><p>(Must have hands-on experience with at least one)</p><ul><li>Paper Feeders (vacuum or friction)</li><li>Folding Machines (e.g., GUK, Stahlfolder)</li><li>Booklet Makers (e.g., Horizon StitchLiner, Duplo)</li><li>Collating Machines (e.g., Duplo, Horizon)</li><li>Inserter Machines (e.g., Robatech, MGS)</li><li>Guillotine Cutters / Slitters (e.g., Polar Mohr)</li><li>Stacker Machines (e.g., Palamides)</li><li>Quality Control Vision Systems (e.g., Cognex)</li><li>Conveyor systems & PLC-controlled packaging lines</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li>Fast-paced, detail-focused production environment</li><li>Seeking dependable operators who take pride in accuracy and quality</li><li>Compensation: $22.00 per hour</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p><p>If you have relevant machine experience and are seeking a long-term opportunity in a regulated, quality-driven environment, please apply with your updated resume.
