Able to manage multiple activities and pivot quickly to other priorities, the QC Inspector will ensure that all Steelhaus product meets all engineering requirements. Note: Welding inspection experience does not apply.</p><p><br /></p><p>Position Details</p><p>Status: Full-Time</p><p>Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm</p><p>Location: Calgary AB (NE Area)</p><p><br /></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform first-off, in-process, and final dimensional inspection of machined components using calibrated tooling including micrometers, calipers, MRPs and hard gauges.</li><li>Calibrate tools using high precision reference standards.</li><li>Monitor, evaluate and re-calibrate tooling that has expired calibration.</li><li>Initiate Nonconformance Reports where requirements are not met.</li></ul><p>Knowledge and Experience</p><ul><li>Able to read and understand part drawings and a general knowledge of GD&T</li><li>2+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop (welding inspection experience does not apply).</li><li>Experience using a variety of hand inspection tools</li><li>Experience with specialized instruments such as Surface Finish Gauge, Wall Thickness Gauge, CMM is considered an asset</li><li>Basic computer skills (MS Office)</li><li>Familiarity with ISO9001 and API Q1 10th Quality Systems is an asset</li></ul><p>Competencies</p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment with multiple priorities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to follow Technical Instructions and complete Forms in compliance product requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude.</li><li>High level of attention to detail.</li><li>Physically fit and able lift loads up to 50lbs or less, stand for prolonged periods, bend, and twist.</li><li>Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Full comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental care</li><li>Wellness and health spending accounts</li><li>Company contribution to your Retirement Savings Plan (RSP)</li><li>Collaborative and energetic workplace culture</li><li>Opportunities for growth within the company through organizational assessments and training</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>All applicants are thanked for their interest</p><p>.</p><p>Steelhaus Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.</p><p><br /></p><p>Steelhaus Technologies Inc. complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
