This is the fuel that helps us tackle the major challenges of our time.   </p>Job Description<br><br><p><strong>Rail Systems Engineer</strong></p><p>We are seeking a competent Rail Systems Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of complex rail systems.</p><p>Rail Systems Engineers are responsible for the design, development, testing and integration of rail systems.</p><p>The responsibilities of a Rail Systems Engineer include:</p><ul><li>Designing and developing rail systems in accordance with the project specifications and requirements</li><li>Designing, development and implementation of rail systems solutions</li><li>Professional knowledge in railway signaling systems, track circuit systems, and automatic train control systems</li><li>Design, develop system testing and validation procedures</li><li>Collaborate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives</li><li>Conducting comprehensive tests to verify and validate the rail system’s performance</li><li>Prepare technical reports and design documentation</li><li>Providing technical support for rail systems, including resolving issues</li><li>Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and new technologies</li><li>Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on multi-disciplinary projects</li><li>Comply with industry standards and safety regulations ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail systems</li><li>Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders</li><li>Preparing technical reports and documentation for system designs, modifications, operations and maintenance activities</li><li>Recommending upgrades or improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of rail systems</li><li>Working closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>BSc degree in Engineering or relevant field</li><li>Proven work as a Rail Systems Engineer or similar role</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Rail Systems, including signaling and train control</li><li>Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software</li><li>Familiarity with railway safety standards and regulations</li><li>Strong project Management and team leadership skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities</li></ul><p>Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a deep understanding of rail systems, engineering principles and practices, and a track record in project management.</p><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>Egis Canada is an equal opportunities employer offering a competitive salary and benefits to those with the skills suited to the needs of our clients. </p><p>We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities.
