<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $35 - $40 per hour<br /><p>Job Description Robotics Operator & Technician</p><p><br /></p><p>FulcrumAir is positioning itself to be a world leader in UAV and Aerial Robotics Technology for the powerline industry. Our unique and innovative technology is creating safer, more efficient, and more environmentally responsible replacements for powerline environment tasks that have evolved little up until now. We are expanding and looking to add a talented and motivated <span >operator/technician</span> to our Calgary team.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Robotics Operator & Technician, working as a member of the manufacturing team, is responsible for the overall assembly, depot maintenance, overhauls, and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems. In addition to the technical skills explained below, this person will support the operations team by operating robotic equipment to perform device installs, and other related tasks. You will also have the opportunity to travel up to 2 weeks a month, exploring new environments and collaborating with a team of experts to deliver exceptional results for our clients.</p><p><br /></p><p>Relevant experience such as electrical assembly, small electronics repair, aircraft maintenance, or experience with drones/RC vehicles is an asset.</p><p><br /></p><p>Some of the skills that would make a successful Robotics Operator and Technician are:</p><ul><li>Expert in soldering and circuitry</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools</li><li>Thorough understanding of wiring and electronics</li><li>Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and diagnostics</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing facilities</li><li>Familiarity with UAV autopilots, GPS units, radios, and other components</li><li>Knowledge of electric motors and control systems</li><li>Computer skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Meticulous organization and housekeeping</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements include:</p><ul><li>Willing and able to travel up to 2 weeks a month</li><li>Willing and able to travel internationally with current passport</li><li>Drivers license with a clean abstract</li><li>Ability to conform with FulcrumAirs pre-employment drug and alcohol testing program</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs</li><li>Punctuality and professionalism</li><li>Completed High School/GED</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Preferred qualifications:</p><ul><li>Applicable technical qualification such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or equivalent</li><li>3 + years of relevant experience</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>FulcrumAir offers a competitive wage and benefits, depending on an applicants skills and experience.
