<h3><b>What is the opportunity?</b><br></h3><p>The <b>Martech Lead / Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant </b>is a unique hybrid business and technical leader who operates as a subject matter expert, relationship manager, and digital technology lead. This role demonstrates enterprise-level responsibility for the implementation and integration strategy across marketing technology platforms.<br></p><p>This position is responsible for the successful onboarding and overall strategic direction for assigned business partners and serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate consistently demonstrates thought leadership, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-division, cross-functional teams from project inception through completion.<br></p><p>The role reports to a senior leader within Marketing Technology and is accountable for managing relationships with senior partners across Marketing and IT, while delivering strong business performance, high employee engagement, and a superior client experience that drives sustainable value creation.<br></p><br>
<b>This is a 1-year contract opportunity that can be extended and requires in-office presence at least 4 days per week in Toronto downtown office location.</b><br>
<br><hr><h3><b>What will you do?</b><br></h3><ul><li><p>Manage and cultivate assigned stakeholder relationships, balancing business objectives and expectations with optimal, scalable solutions<br></p></li><li><p>Act as a subject matter expert in marketing automation best practices, including both industry standards and internal practices<br></p></li><li><p>Liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather, translate, and document requirements with the appropriate level of detail for clear execution<br></p></li><li><p>Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement in existing and future solutions<br></p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively and build strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of collaboration techniques<br></p></li><li><p>Design, test, build, and present proof of concepts, data integrations, queries, automations, journeys, and reports as required<br></p></li><li><p>Understand, document, and present marketing technology solutions and capabilities in stakeholder-facing sessions<br></p></li></ul>
<br><br><h3>Requirements</h3><h3><b>What do you need to succeed?</b><br></h3><h3><b>Must-have</b><br></h3><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience in digital marketing, campaign management, account management, project management, or comparable roles<br></p></li><li><p>5+ years of experience managing and/or delivering marketing automation projects (email marketing, SMS/push messaging, programmatic marketing, digital advertising, digital marketing)<br></p></li><li><p>2+ years of advanced experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) with the following certifications (or equivalent experience):<br></p><ul><li><p>Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant<br></p></li><li><p>Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist<br></p></li><li><p>Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator<br></p></li></ul></li><li><p>High proficiency in SQL development and design, with experience in web programming (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript) across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, Unix)<br></p></li><li><p>Knowledge of data management principles<br></p></li></ul><h3><b>Nice to have</b><br></h3><ul><li><p>Experience with other Salesforce products<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with other marketing automation platforms<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with additional email service providers<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with content management systems<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with other cloud-based products<br></p></li><li><p>Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with server configuration (DNS, SSL)<br></p></li></ul><hr><h3><b>What's in it for you?</b><br></h3><ul><li><p>Opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact<br></p></li><li><p>Work within a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team<br></p></li><li><p>Exposure to challenging and rewarding work in a growing digital and marketing technology environment<br></p></li></ul>
