With over 8,000 employees in 25 District offices across Canada, and 370,000 employees globally, we possess the experience and knowledge to offer a broad range of expert services including: On-site Guarding, Mobile Patrol Guarding, Leading Technology Solutions, Remote Guarding, and Investigations.</p><p>We are seeking FULL TIME Security Site Supervisor for the EDMONTON area.</p><p>*Must have great verbal and written communication skills</p><p>*Must have minimum 2 years of Supervisor experience</p><p>*2 or more years of security experience (preferred)</p><p>*Must have great computer skills</p><p>*Must have a valid Security Guard license</p><p>*Must have a valid driver's license</p><p>*Ability to train guards on daily tasks on a site</p><p>We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.</p><p>The posting will remain open until filled.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES: </p><ul><li>Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.</li><li>Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.</li><li>Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.</li><li>Conduct Video Reviews on request and documentation as needed.</li><li>Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.</li><li>Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.</li><li>Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.</li><li>Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.</li><li>Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.</li><li>Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS: </p><ul><li><p>Must have valid provincial Security Guard License</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid First Aid and CPR Certification</p></li><li><p>Must have great verbal and written communication skills. </p></li><li><p>2 or more years of security experience (preferred)</p></li><li><p>Must have minimum 2 years of Supervisor experience</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of security operations and procedures</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.</p></li><li><p>Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.</p></li><li><p>Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to get more training if required.</p></li></ul><p>OTHER BENEFITS:</p><ul><li><p>Free uniform</p></li><li><p>Virtual training</p></li><li><p>On the job training</p></li><li><p>Top industry rates of pay.</p></li><li><p>Continuous learning opportunities</p></li></ul><p>TO APPLY</p><p>The posting will remain open until filled.</p><p>Further information about the Company: </p><p>#AF-WesternCanada</p>
