<p><h3>Senior Air Quality Project Manager</h3><p>Are you looking for a company that works on major engineering projects worldwide and wants to improve the daily lives of communities while working in an inclusive, diverse team? AtkinsRéalis is dedicated to engineering a better future, and the Climate Resilience, Sustainability, Air and Acoustics team is seeking a Senior Air Quality Project Manager to work on projects related to Air Quality. This role will be based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver, with occasional travel within Canada.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support environmental impact assessments, permitting studies and other client requests, including:</li>
<li>Identification and assessment of air quality impacts.</li>
<li>Atmospheric dispersion modelling.</li>
<li>Contaminant emissions inventories.</li>
<li>GHG emissions and mitigation.</li>
<li>Development of dust management plans.</li>
<li>Odor assessment.</li>
<li>Development and implementation of ambient air quality monitoring programs.</li>
<li>Indoor air quality sampling programs and recommendations.</li>
<li>Report writing.</li>
<li>Lead and support business development activities, including client relationship management, opportunity identification, and proposal development.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or another relevant engineering degree.</li>
<li>PMP or CAPM certification.</li>
<li>10+ years of progressive experience in air quality, including:</li>
<li>Experience with atmospheric contaminant and GHG emissions calculations.</li>
<li>Experience with the AERMOD and Calpuff dispersion models.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with Python programming and pandas library for predictive modelling.</li>
<li>Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local air‑quality regulation compliance regulations.</li>
<li>Experience preparing competitive proposals, supporting business development, and identifying new opportunities within the air‑quality market.</li>
<li>Proven ability to prepare high‑quality technical reports, synthesize complex data, and clearly communicate adaptation strategies and recommendations to clients and non‑technical audiences.</li>
