<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Senior Advisor, Internal Audit </strong><br><br> Calgary-based client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Advisor, Internal Audit. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, the role is responsible for planning and executing independent, risk-based assurance and consulting engagements in accordance with IIA standards. Strong expertise in areas such as Enterprise Risk Management, IT audits, fraud investigations, or data analytics is required.<br><br><strong>Your success will be defined by your ability to:</strong><br /><ul><li>Lead complex audit and advisory engagements, analyze evidence, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements to governance, risk, and controls.</li><li>Manage engagements end to end, including overseeing external resources when required.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise, and high-quality reports and presentations that drive action.</li><li>Apply Internal Audit standards (IIA) and related best practices (e.g., ACFE, COBIT).</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, using professionalism and influence.</li><li>Uphold strict confidentiality and the highest ethical standards.</li></ul><strong>Your strengths include:</strong><br /><ul><li>Professional designation (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or similar)</li><li>5+ years of progressive audit and/or consulting experience with specialized expertise</li><li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills</li><li>Proficient with key software tools</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently</li><li>Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience</li></ul><br /> If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the <strong>“Apply”</strong> button to send your resume directly to<strong> Alvin Tam.</strong><br><br><strong>Recruitment Partners Inc</strong>. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
