Senior Security Analyst

<p>A leading and long-established company in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking a <b>Senior Security Analyst</b> to take ownership of its cybersecurity operations and help mature its overall security posture. This position reports to the Director of IT and will be the primary go-to for all things cyber — from endpoint protection to vulnerability management and awareness training.<br></p><p><b>What You'll Do</b><br></p><ul><li>Lead daily security operations across endpoints, networks, and cloud systems.<br></li><li>Investigate and respond to potential threats, malware, and unauthorized activity.<br></li><li>Manage and improve vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation processes.<br></li><li>Maintain and optimize endpoint and email protection tools.<br></li><li>Coordinate awareness training and security education initiatives company-wide.<br></li><li>Develop and maintain documentation around DR, security standards, and best practices.<br></li><li>Work cross-functionally with infrastructure and development teams to align systems with secure design principles.<br></li></ul><p><b>What You Bring</b><br></p><ul><li>5+ years of IT security or cybersecurity experience, including incident response and vulnerability management.<br></li><li>Strong familiarity with tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Tenable Nessus, Proofpoint, or comparable platforms.<br></li><li>Understanding of frameworks such as NIST and general IT risk management.<br></li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft security stack and cloud identity platforms (e.g., Entra ID).<br></li><li>Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are an asset.<br></li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a small, collaborative IT environment.<br></li></ul><p><b>Why This Role</b><br></p><p>This is a pivotal position for a respected, innovation-driven organization looking to formalize its cybersecurity function.
