You will be part of a 20+ person elite tech team, building in-house tools that replace legacy mortgage workflows with seamless, automated experiences.<br><br></p><p>Youll be working within a modern Cloud-Native ecosystemdeploying to Kubernetes, leveraging AWS, and building AI-driven features that accelerate our mortgage lifecycle.<br><br></p><p>What Youll Do</p><ul><li>Architect & Build: Co-lead the development of complex features using PHP and React, ensuring code is scalable, secure, and performant.</li><li>Drive AI Innovation: Help us implement and scale AI/LLM integrations to automate document processing, data extraction, and predictive analytics.</li><li>Modern Infrastructure: Own your deployments within a Docker and Kubernetes environment.</li><li>Security & Compliance: Maintain the high bar set by our SOC 2 Type 2 status, ensuring data integrity and secure API design are never afterthoughts.</li><li>Problem Solve: Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions that provide a competitive edge in the Canadian market.<br><br></li></ul><p>Must Haves</p><ul><li>Senior-Level PHP: Deep experience building robust, enterprise-grade applications with PHP.</li><li>Modern Frontend: Strong proficiency in React and the modern JavaScript ecosystem.</li><li>Data Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and caching layers like Redis.</li><li>Containerization: Experience developing and deploying applications using Docker.</li><li>Cloud Experience: Comfortable working within an AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration.</li><li>The "Senior" Mindset: You prioritize maintainability, security, and scalability. You enjoy mentoring peers and conducting high-signal code reviews.<br><br></li></ul><p>Nice to Haves</p><ul><li>AI/ML: Experience with LLMs via AWS <span >Bedrock/OpenAI/Anthropic,</span> vector databases, or prompt engineering.</li><li>Alpine.js/HTMX: Experience with (or interest in) Alpine.js and HTMX.
