<p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>LSP Canada is seeking a <b>Senior Tax Associate</b> for our London Windsor or Niagara Falls offices. In this role, you will work closely with our tax professionals to provide <b>high-quality tax compliance and planning services</b> to individuals, families, and businesses across Ontario.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for candidates with experience in <b>Canadian tax preparation, CRA compliance, and client-facing operations</b>, especially during peak tax season.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Prepare, review, and file <b>personal (T1), corporate (T2), and trust tax returns</b>.</li>
<li>Assist with <b>GST/HST</b> and other indirect tax compliance.</li>
<li>Conduct tax research and apply Canadian tax legislation to client cases.</li>
<li>Support tax planning and strategy recommendations to optimize client tax positions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client filings.</li>
<li>Communicate with clients to collect documentation, answer questions, and provide guidance.</li>
<li>Mentor junior staff and support team workflows as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with <b>CRA regulations</b> and internal quality standards.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications & Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in <b>Accounting, Finance, or related field</b>.</li>
<li>Minimum <b>3+ years of Canadian tax experience</b> (public accounting, tax advisory, or corporate).</li>
<li>CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of <b>Canadian tax laws and CRA compliance</b>.</li>
<li>Proficiency with <b>Canadian tax software</b> (ProFile, Profile, Taxprep, or similar).</li>
<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during peak tax season.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Additional Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Legally authorized to work in Canada.</li>
<li>Availability during <b>peak Canadian tax season (February–April)</b>.</li>
<li>Ability to work <b>on-site in London, Windsor or Niagara Falls, Ontario</b>.</li>
