<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are a small Powder Coating, Ceramic Coating and Sandblasting shop in west Edmonton.聽 For the past 18 years we have taken pride in our growing customer base through our work and by word-of-mouth.聽 We are experienced in a wide range of batch coating applications from large service bodies to smaller automotive, motorcycle and off-road vehicle parts. We believe our customers are priority one!</p><p>聽</p><p>There is currently a requirement for a Shop Labourer to support the powder coating and shop duties of the business.</p><p>聽</p><p>The applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:</p><p>聽</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Review work orders to follow through with customer requirements</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Preparation of customer parts, cleaning, taping, plugging, and sandblasting as required</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviewing the preparation to ensure parts are ready for coating</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operating power tools</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeping track of cure times</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Notifying the shop manager of any supplies we need to order</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Notifying and trouble shooting any coating issues with shop manager</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeping workspace and machines clean and free of any debris and contaminants</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Transfer coated items in and out of the oven using a rolling rack or cart</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviewing completed items for quality and transferring them to staging area for customers</p><p>聽</p><p>聽</p><p><b><strong>Qualifications, Skills, Abilities</strong></b></p><p>聽</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Secondary school graduate</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 2 consecutive years of experience in a powder coating shop an asset</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good judgment, initiative, and careful attention to detail are important in this roll</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tidy and punctual</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Energetic, organized and ability to adapt in an ever changing and fast paced atmosphere</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work individually and in a team environment</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Willingness to accept instruction and give feedback</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to pay attention to the environment and other people working in the shop</p><p>路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated ability to run a fork lift</p><p>Ability to lift up to 50lb occasionally</p></p>Company Description<p>As a local sandblasting, powder coating and ceramic coating shop easily located in the North West part of Edmonton, we are very proud of our 18 years serving the city and surrounding areas with friendly and timely service to our valued customers.
