Calgary, Alberta T2C 4R6)</i>. In this role, you will support the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the attraction, assessment and onboarding of high-quality talent across the organization.<br><br>You will play a pivotal role in sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing job postings, maintaining recruitment documentation, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. The ideal candidate is detail-orientated, organized, highly personal, and committed to delivering exceptional candidate experience while staying current with talent acquisition trends and best practices.<p>KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):</p>TALENT SOURCING & ACQUISITION (Weighting 40%)Recruitment & Candidate Discovery<ul><li>Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse, qualified talent for all business units.</li><li>Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, networking, career fairs, and community partnerships.</li><li>Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (JazzHR) to ensure accurate, up–to-date candidate information.</li><li>Create compelling job postings and collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and role requirements.</li><li>Maintain a proactive pipeline of high-potential candidates for recurring or critical roles.</li></ul>CANDIDATE SCREENING & INTERVIEWING (Weighting 30%)Prospect Assessment & Selection<ul><li>Conduct initial phone screenings and behavioral-based interviews to assess qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.</li><li>Document and summarize screening results for hiring managers to support informed decision-making.</li><li>Coordinate interview logistics, ensuring timely scheduling and a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams.</li><li>Administer, collect, and interpret behavioral or role-specific assessments as part of the evaluation process.</li><li>Support hiring managers in aligning selection decisions with Startec’s competencies and values.</li></ul>HIRING & ONBOARDING (Weighting 20%)Employee Engagement & Orientation<ul><li>Partner closely with hiring managers to confirm hiring needs, timelines, and offer details.</li><li>Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms when required, and support candidates through the acceptance process.</li><li>Complete reference checks and other pre-employment verifications.</li><li>Coordinate and deliver new hire orientations to enhance engagement and understanding of Startec’s culture, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Ensure all onboarding documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted in a timely manner.</li></ul>RECRUITMENT METRICS & REPORTING (Weighting 10%)Hiring Analytics & Insights<ul><li>Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, candidate pipeline and hiring outcomes to senior management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with legal and company-specific hiring practices and policies.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.</li><li>Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and employment legislation.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably JazzHR) and other recruitment tools.</li><li>High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and act with professionalism and integrity.</li></ul><p>We offer competitive wages, training, flexible, dynamic, and exciting work environment.</p><p>We thank you for your application and interest in our organization.
