The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax provisions, ensuring compliance, and supporting filings and audits. This role reports to the Director of Tax and works closely with the finance and accounting teams.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and review tax provisions and related accounting entries.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations and reporting standards.</li><li>Support quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to resolve tax-related issues.</li><li>Manage deadlines and deliverables during peak tax season.</li><li>Maintain documentation and assist with process improvements.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>TMGCT</p><br><br><p></p><ul><li>CPA or equivalent accounting designation.</li><li>Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course.</li><li>5+ years of experience in tax accounting and tax provisions.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Canadian tax compliance.</li><li>Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.</li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to work overtime during peak season.</li></ul></p></p>
