This critical role involves the development, <b><strong>validation</strong></b>, and <b><strong>continuous improvement</strong></b> of <b><strong>welding</strong></b>, <b><strong>fastening</strong></b>, and <b><strong>adhesive bonding</strong></b> methods essential for <b><strong>vehicle assembly</strong></b>.</p><p>As a <b><strong>Joining Engineer</strong></b>, you will collaborate with <b><strong>product design</strong></b>, <b><strong>manufacturing</strong></b>, and <b><strong>quality engineering</strong></b> teams to ensure the <b><strong>structural integrity</strong></b> and <b><strong>durability</strong></b> of joined components across various <b><strong>body-in-white (BIW)</strong></b> and <b><strong>chassis structures</strong></b>. Your expertise will directly influence <b><strong>vehicle safety</strong></b>, <b><strong>manufacturing efficiency</strong></b>, and <b><strong>product quality</strong></b>.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement joining technologies such as <b><strong>resistance spot welding</strong></b>, <b><strong>MIG welding</strong></b>, <b><strong>MAG welding</strong></b>, <b><strong>laser welding</strong></b>, and <b><strong>adhesive bonding</strong></b> for <b><strong>high-strength steel</strong></b> and <b><strong>aluminum components</strong></b>.</li><li>Collaborate with <b><strong>design engineers</strong></b> and <b><strong>manufacturing teams</strong></b> to optimize <b><strong>joint design</strong></b> and ensure <b><strong>manufacturability</strong></b>.</li><li>Conduct <b><strong>root cause analysis</strong></b> and implement <b><strong>corrective actions</strong></b> for <b><strong>joining-related issues</strong></b> on the production line.</li><li>Support the <b><strong>launch of new vehicle programs</strong></b> by validating <b><strong>joining processes</strong></b> and equipment.</li><li>Specify and approve <b><strong>joining equipment</strong></b>, <b><strong>robotic systems</strong></b>, and <b><strong>quality inspection tools</strong></b>.</li><li>Ensure compliance with <b><strong>industry standards</strong></b>, <b><strong>safety protocols</strong></b>, and <b><strong>quality requirements</strong></b>.</li><li>Analyze data using <b><strong>process monitoring systems</strong></b> and drive <b><strong>continuous improvement</strong></b> initiatives.</li><li>Support cross-functional teams in applying <b><strong>DFMEA</strong></b>, <b><strong>PFMEA</strong></b>, and <b><strong>control plans</strong></b> for joining processes.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li><b><strong>5+ years of experience</strong></b> in <b><strong>automotive manufacturing</strong></b>, ideally in <b><strong>body assembly</strong></b> or <b><strong>BIW environments</strong></b>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <b><strong>welding metallurgy</strong></b>, <b><strong>heat-affected zones (HAZ)</strong></b>, and <b><strong>joint performance testing</strong></b>.</li><li>Familiarity with <b><strong>CAD tools</strong></b>, <b><strong>robotic systems</strong></b>, and <b><strong>production tooling</strong></b>.</li><li>Proven ability to <b><strong>troubleshoot</strong></b> and <b><strong>optimize manufacturing processes</strong></b>.</li><li>Excellent <b><strong>communication skills</strong></b> and <b><strong>teamwork abilities</strong></b>.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Certifications
