<p><b>Associate Lawyer, Commercial Litigation</b></p><p><b>BJRC Recruiting · Greater Toronto Area, Canada (Hybrid)</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>About Us</b></p><p>Is a respected Toronto litigation boutique with a strong commercial litigation practice and a hands-on, in-office mentorship model.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including securities, competition, and general civil litigation</li><li>Work closely with partners in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment</li><li>Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda</li><li>Appear in court for procedural matters and hearings, as appropriate</li><li>Support litigation strategy and trial preparation</li><li>Take on responsibility early, with close guidance and mentorship from partners</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Job Details</b></p><ul><li>Full-time position based in Toronto</li><li>In-office presence expected most days, with flexibility for occasional work from home</li><li>The firm emphasizes mentorship, learning, and long-term associate development</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Approximately 1 to 6+ years of call (flexible depending on fit and trajectory)</li><li>Solid foundation in commercial and/or general litigation</li><li>Strong drafting skills and ability to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar matters</li><li>Proactive, self-starting mindset and comfort managing a varied workload</li><li>Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach</li><li>Demonstrated interest in building a long-term litigation practice, with partner-track potential</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>REF# 1521</b></p>
