<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Job description:</strong><br><br>Our client has an immediate opening for Electrical Design Engineer Degree or Diploma preferred as well as min. 5 years’ experience in the Automation and Robotics industry. AutoCAD Electrical is a must Position is based out of our office in Burlington, Ontario.<br><br>Regular full-time working hours consist of 40 hours per week Mon. – Fri. and are determined by the departmental supervisors to meet organizational demands. Overtime maybe required on a project-to- project basis.<br><br>Position will require some traveling. (Canada US and Mexico) Valid passport and driver license is<br />required<br><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><br>You will be part of the Electrical design / estimating department, implement standards, develop, and<br />expand on the current library.<br><br>· Responsible for the design of Electrical systems and devices using AutoCAD Electrical<br />· Developing and maintaining custom and standard designs<br />· Ensure designs meet industry standards and government/local code regulations<br />· Prepare technical documentation and user manuals<br />· Developing new standards and equipment<br />· Specifying purchased and manufactured equipment from outside suppliers. (mechanical)<br />· Procurement of material and equipment<br />· Ensuring times lines of purchased and manufactured equipment to me expected deliveries.<br />· Securing pricing of components for purchase<br />· Inconcepting of equipment and controls for quotation purposes.<br />· Securing pricing of components for the quotation process<br />· Supporting Sales department in onsite customer reviews and concept meetings.<br />· Assist Developing timelines and schedule for projects with other departments.<br />· Assist in keeping timelines for projects with production and purchasing.<br />· Onsite customer meetings<br />· Working with Microsoft project and excel for scheduling.<br><br><strong>Benefits</strong>:<br><br> Dental care<br /> Life insurance<br><br><strong>Experience</strong>:<br /> Automation and Robotics industry.
