<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Responsibilities<br><br>Accounting<br />• Actively participate in the month end and year end processes (i.e. journal entries, reconciliations, forecasts, budgets, etc.) <br />• Ensure data integrity and that results are reported under current accounting standards<br><br>Financial Analysis<br />• Conduct monthly financial analyses of revenue and expenses<br />• Explain budget discrepancies and forecast differences <br />• Create and analyze reports, dashboards and financial models in order to monitor performance</p><p><br />Controls, Processes and Systems<br />• Follow internal financial processes and ensure accounting standards are applied<br />• Participate in system optimization to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting (e.g. developing new processes, tools and models)<br />• Improve documentation of financial processes</p><p></p><p><strong>Education and Training:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting <br />• Has or is in the process of obtaining a CPA title or equivalent</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>1 to 3 years’ experience in accounting or corporate finance</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent analytical abilities and critical thinking<br />• Ability to manage multiple priorities<br />• Strong oral and written communication skills<br />• Bilingual (French and English)</li><li>Team spirit and interpersonal skills<br />• Client orientation<br />• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)<br />• Knowledge of SAP (asset)</li></ul><p></p></p></p>
